James Dublino (Director)

James is directing for the second time at the Stage Company. This summer he directed Shakespeare's classic, "As You Like It." James has previously shown versatility in directing the tragedy Antigone, the farce Black Comedy, the explosive 27 Wagons Full of Cotton, and the musical romance My Fair Lady . James has a uniquely supportive directoral style that begins with the phrase, "don't be afraid to make mistakes - that is how you learn!" Thus James is able to inspire his actors to be as creative as possible, and give their very best performances.

Jessica Seaman - Stage Manager, Set Design

Jessica Seaman (Stage Manager, Lighting, Sound )

This is Jessica's second time working with the La Jolla Stage Company. Previously she was stage manager, co-lighting and sound designer for Shakespeare's As You Like It. She has been doing theater since high school and starred in You Can't Take it With You, Light Up the Sky, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Fawlty Towers. She also has crewed and stage managed for Arsenic and Old Lace. Jessica also acted and crewed with Murrieta Repertory theater in My Fair Lady, The Elephant Man, Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe. She recently finished her first year at Cal State Long Beach where she is a performance theater major.


Amanda Caraway (dramaturg)

Amanda became involved with theatre at a very young age, and has since participated in every aspect of the art form. This is her first experience as a dramaturg, and she hopes to have many more in the future. She is currently perusing an M.A. in theatre studies at SDSU with emphases in theatre history and directing. Past directing credits include Amicable Parting at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she received her B.A., and the world premier of Scripted at Wasatch Theatre Company ?a company that Amanda co-founded, which is also in Salt Lake City. Presently, she is assistant directing The Waiting Room at SDSU.

Tim Heitman (Artistic Director)

Artistic Director of LJSC, co-founder of Green Room Theatre Company, MFA in musical theater, performer, composer, lyricist, theatrician. Tim has performed, directed, and produced plays and musicals since his arrival in San Diego in 1991. A native of San Francisco, he has worked in many theaters up and down the west coast and is now very happy to call San Diego home. He wants to thank all those very hard working volunteers and guild members for their effort in making this theatre possible - especially his strongest business associate, best friend and wife, Paula Pierson.
